to recap, the game was initially published as a planned free to play game by Digital Extremes (the studio behind Warframe) initially released through a variety of paid "founders packs". Digital Extremes eventually dropped the game before it got out of early access but transferred the IP back to it's original developer Airship Syndicate.
this new build removes all of the F2P elements, with the game instead being purchasable for a flat fee of $25, and any content that was previously gated to microtransacions now being unlockable through normal gameplay.
