Discussion Let’s talk lore

The lore is the reason I always want to five From Software's games another chance. I agree with others that Botw was great for lore.

If we're expanding it to any environmental and implied storytelling it's some of my favourite stuff in gaming. Dragon Quest is fun in both the "timeline" and environments, especially the towns. The more I think about it the cooler Dragon Quest 3s final part gets.
 
I appreciate when the internal consistency of a world has been thought out well enough, but as far as “lore” and specific details, I can live without it. You’ve seen one dead guy with a note, you’ve seen them all.
